Paola Lenti is a part of Artissima – Italy’s premier contemporary art fair, held yearly at Lingotto venue in Turin – decorating the lounge area with Metamorfosi, the collection penned by Brazilian designers Fernando and Humberto Campana.
Metamorfosi is a special edition of unique pieces – five expansive seats and a tapestry – born from the creative reuse of production remnants and conceived together with the Campana Brothers with the aim of avoiding waste and reduce the use of raw materials while maintain a profound respect for humanity and the environment.
The selection for Artissima includes two expansive sofa-platforms and two bench-style seating with zoomorphic shapes. Their vibrant surfaces evoke seagrass or whimsical, unconventional flowers. These products, straddling the line between design objects and artwork, find their perfect home in museums and exhibition venues. Named Chromodoro, Zoide, and Bruco – the names too are inspired by animal and sea organisms – will provide a relaxing retreat for Artissima’s visitors throughout the event’s three days.
Artissima’s thirtieth edition will host 181 galleries hailing from 33 countries across 4 continents, divided into 7 unique exhibition sections. Moreover, it plays a pivotal role in fostering exhibitions and events within numerous foundations, galleries, and museums throughout Turin. These include the Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea (GAM), the Fondazione Merz, and the Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea.
