Ahead of the opening of Art Basel Miami – the highly anticipated international event dedicated to contemporary art – Paola Lenti hosted an exclusive gathering in collaboration with partner Casual, welcoming over 250 guests. Journalists, architects, interior designers, and design enthusiasts were warmly greeted at the Paola Lenti Miami flagship store by Anna Lenti, CEO of Paola Lenti, and Guilherme Paulo Deucher Filho, CEO of Casual.
During the evening, Paola Lenti officially introduced Hana-arashi, the latest collection by Japanese designer Nendo, to the American market. The presentation captivated attendees with its visually striking setting and distinctly experiential approach, designed to engage and stimulate the senses.
Hana-arashi – a Japanese term describing delicate Sakura petals dancing in the wind – embodies poetic beauty, more subtle and intimate than full bloom. Following its debut at Milano Design Week in April and its subsequent showcase at Designart Festival Tokyo in October, the collection now makes its American debut in Miami, marking the third stage of its journey across three continents.
Hana-arashi will be on display until January 15, 2025.
